Adding and Updating Basic Questions and Answers
You can configure AgentX to respond to specific statements, answers and questions. This is also called an “utterance”. In this use case, it is a simple question that can be answered directly via AgentX. You can configure as many different versions of the question or “utterance” as might yield the same answer.
See the Use Cases to review the three main types of questions and answers.
First, notice the CORE “skills” pack for AgentX
You’ll notice that as part of the Post Installation Configuration a set of preconfigured QnA was created to address the common caller expressions or utterances. We find that most implementations will want some form of these questions and answers, but feel free to update as needed to match your tone.
See the update section below.
Add a basic question and answer
In the AgentX Bot Interface, select the left tab called “Questions” and then select the add button on the right side
In the pop up screen for adding a new QnA, select the QnA radio dial then add new unique identifier (most implementations use an abbreviated naming schema that includes sequential numbering, but you can use whatever makes sense for your implementation), And add in the question(s) or utterance(s) (you’ll want to think of a few ways to ask the same questions). Click the “add questions / utterance” to add another way to ask the same question.
Scroll down to complete type in the answer and then click “Create” to save your QnA
Update an existing question and answer
From the main AgentX “Questions” tab, under the ID column, are the configured statements and questions. You can easily update any of the existing ones by clicking the pencil icon on the right.
Update the questions / utterances or answer as needed. Be sure to click “Update” when complete
Congratulations! You have now just created and updated existing simple questions and answers. Many of the callers most common questions can be answered directly by AgentX.
